When I arrived back in Westwood for the Nahill family’s newest addition, it felt incredibly special. Just two years ago, I photographed Claire as a newborn, and now she’s stepped into her new role as big sister to baby Geo — and she couldn’t be more perfect in it.
As a Westwood newborn photographer, these are the moments that mean the most to me — being invited back to document a growing family and seeing how much love has deepened over time.
Claire is truly the sweetest big sister. From the moment I arrived, she was right by Geo’s side, gently giving him kisses and watching over him with so much pride. It’s always a little unpredictable photographing toddlers with a new baby, but Claire made it effortless. Her love for her baby brother was so natural and genuine, and those are the moments parents will treasure forever.
Baby Geo, on the other hand, decided he didn’t want to miss a single second of his session. He was wide awake the entire time — calm, content, and completely happy in his parents’ arms. While sleepy newborns are often expected, there is something so beautiful about capturing a baby exactly as they are in these early days. Geo’s bright eyes and peaceful expressions made this session feel especially personal and connected.
We focused on a relaxed, lifestyle approach, documenting the family together in the comfort of their home. These sessions are less about perfect poses and more about preserving the feeling of this season — the tiny details, the in-between moments, and the way your family naturally interacts.
Watching Claire snuggle up next to her parents with Geo in their arms was one of those moments you just know will mean more and more as the years go on.
It’s always an honor to be trusted not just once, but again as families grow. Sessions like this are the reason I love what I do!!
