Graduation sessions with friends always hold such a special kind of energy, and this College of the Holy Cross group session was one I’ll never forget.
Kaitlyn and her friends were truly the sweetest group. From the moment I arrived on campus, they brought such a kind and calming presence. I had a small mini emergency right before the session began, and they were incredibly patient and understanding, which honestly meant so much to me. Their warmth and genuine kindness set the tone for the entire evening.
Like many spring weekends at College of the Holy Cross campus, campus was full of excitement and packed with other graduation photo sessions happening all around us. Instead of fighting the crowds, we found the most beautiful tucked-away spot with gorgeous purple blossoms and dreamy golden sunlight pouring through the trees. It ended up being one of my favorite parts of the session and gave their gallery such a soft, joyful spring feel.
Of course, we also made sure to capture the iconic Holy Cross locations that make graduation photos here feel so timeless — including the classic brick buildings, white columns, and the famous Dinand Library steps.
The entire session was filled with laughter, hugs, confetti, champagne pops, and so many genuine smiles. You could immediately tell how much these friendships meant to each other. That’s what makes group graduation sessions so incredible — they capture not only the accomplishment itself, but also the people who helped shape the entire college experience along the way.
As a Worcester grad photographer, sessions like this are some of my absolute favorites to document. There’s something so meaningful about freezing these final moments together before everyone heads into their next chapter.
Whether you’re celebrating solo or with your closest friends, graduation photos at College of the Holy Cross are such a meaningful way to remember this season of life. Group sessions are perfect for roommates, best friends, and classmates who want candid, elevated, joy-filled photos together before graduation weekend comes to an end.
If you’re looking for a Worcester MA graduation photographer for your Holy Cross grad photos, I’d love to help you create something timeless and personal.
